{ Print }These are wonderful because they compliment nearly every entree. They're simple to make, and they're a huge srowd pleaser. I've yet to run in to someone who doesn't love 'em - kids and picky eaters included! Not to mention they are so pretty!
A few tips...
- Make ONLY during tomato season. (Is there anything worse than a mushy, grainy tomato?)
- The original recipe calls for walnuts, but I use pecans just because I'm more of a Pecan-kind-of-girl... However, I'm sure they're just as yummy both ways.
- And again - you're gonna have to use your judgment on measurements.
